GUIDELINES TO SAFELY RE-OPEN IN-PERSON MEETINGS  Baltimore Intergroup has put together suggestions and guidelines for groups to consider when making an informed group conscience about how to re-open safely once our respective jurisdictions allow it.

TIPS TO HANDLE AND PREVENT “ZOOM BOMBING”  Here are some easy suggestions for keeping meetings safe for alcoholics.

PASSING THE VIRTUAL BASKET: Baltimore Intergroup now has a Venmo account @BaltimoreIntergroup. See other reasons why it is still important to pass the basket.

GRAPEVINE HAS FREE ARTICLES!: Grapevine is our meeting in print. To help members during this time, Grapevine is giving everyone limited free access to many of their 2020 Grapevine and La Viña issues. (The audio to Grapevine’s stories will be available as well, so people can listen to the stories if they like.) Please share with your fellows. They have also included a link to their Youtube channel with some original audio stories as well as other important information.

CARRYING THE MESSAGE IN A PANDEMIC! Here are some great ideas about how to reach newcomers and oldtimers, alike, who may have trouble transitioning to online and phone meetings.

SETTING UP A PHONE OR ONLINE MEETING: This is a great guide for Google Hangout, Zoom or FreeConferenceCall  If your group needs additional help, please call the office for assistance.

PROTECTING ANONYMITY ON ZOOM: This is a great guide on adjusting default settings on Zoom (thanks to the San Francisco Central Office) to protect our anonymity on Zoom.  As a reminder, please use BCC to blind copy  group emails when forwarding meeting information.
